Pub Quizzes in South Woodham Ferrers

Pub quizzes take place in a number of venues around South Woodham Ferreres. 

Pub quizzes can be great fun for those who like to pit their wits against other teams. The quizzes will have a number of categories such as general knowledge, music, politics, geography, arts and literature and so on.  Some quizzes are more serious than others. The less serious ones may have questions such as the number of traffic lights along the A12 or pedestrian crossings in South Woodham Ferrers. There will be a prize of some kind for the winner; usually cash and there may be a booby prize of lemons for the losing team.

Teams are usually limited to 6-8 players.

• A Tuesday night quiz at 7 pm in the Railway Pub
• The Town Crier in the centre near Asda runs a weekly quiz which is on a Wednesday.
• A quiz toccasionally akes place at Club Woodham
• There is a Thursday Quiz in the Curlew Pub at 8pm
