South Woodham Ferrers Village Hall

South Woodham Ferrers Village Hall is situated near the top end of Hullbridge Rd, just off of Burnham Road. In addition to running its own social club and bar, the village hall plays host to a fair number of clubs and societies. With the hall and several function rooms available for hire, all kinds of things go on here.

There are dances, performances by bands, craft shows, amateur dramatic productions, plays, private functions, church meetings, meetings of the British Legion, Crib, Camera, Social Club, 3 Wine Clubs  .... the list is almost endless.

• The village hall has a stage which makes it very suitable for performances.
• It is also used as a polling station for local and general elections.

The green behind the village hall has been a venue for various events in the past; for a fireworks display, fête.

Enquiries about bookings, phone the Bookings Secretary on 01245 325568. An answerphone is in operation but messages are retrieved daily.

The village hall has its own car park and the intended purpose is for attendees at the various clubs and events.

Other venues where community events are held and rooms can be hired:

Champion's Manor Hall in Hullbridge Road which houses the new council offices also has rooms to rent.
