Frankland Fields is a stretch of fields and woodland that paths run through. It is possible to enjoy a circular walk through the nature reserve, up to the River Crouch and back.  It is best accessed from the left hand-side of the allotments in Marsh Farm Road.

Any residents interested in conservation are welcome to join a group of volunteers who meet on a Thursday morning once a month, 10:00am-noon, to work on a variety of maintenance tasks. Tea and biscuits at the end of each session. Telephone 01245 606554 and speak to Lyn.
